Leyl Master Black
Leyl Master Black is a tech PR and marketing professional with more than 15 years experience driving high-impact communications programs for market-leading companies. Black recently returned to Sparkpr as a Managing Director after a five-year stint running Marketing Alchemist in Seattle and San Francisco.
Prior to joining Sparkpr in 2002, Black served as vice president of marketing at Sagent and was director of marketing at WhiteLight Systems. Black began her marketing career at Compaq in the decision support solutions group.
John Boynton
A co-founder of several companies including Yandex, InfiNet Wireless, and CompTek (all in Russia) as well as Wilson|Alan and the now defunct Global Content Alliance. John is an investor and/or board member in several other private companies, including Motus Games, Gather, and LoveFilm. John spent some time at Forrester Research and is an admitted gadget freak.
Christian Crumlish
Christian Crumlish is the curator of the Yahoo! Design Pattern Library and has been designing and writing about online user experiences since 1994. He is a director of the Information Architecture Institute and co-chair of the monthly BayCHI program. He is the author of The Power of Many: How the Internet is Transforming Politics, Business, and Everyday Life, as well as The Internet for Busy People, Dreamweaver Savvy, A Guided Tour of the Internet and The Internet Dictionary. He is currently writing a book with Erin Malone for O’Reilly Media called Designing Social Interfaces.
He has consulted with startups and Fortune 500 companies, including FedEx, Kodak, Visa, Sprint, Charles Schwab, Safeway, Sun, SanDisk, BEA, HTC, Aramark, MediaMelon, Syklist, and GoFish.
He studied philosophy at Princeton and painting at the San Francisco School of Art, and lives in Oakland, California, with his wife, Briggs, and his cat, Fraidy.
Mike Donovan
Gere Donovan Creative is a strategic communication and design agency with offices in Portland, Oregon and Anchorage, Alaska. GDC creates innovative brand identity material, integrated advertising and marketing campaigns, online and social media campaigns, corporate and consumer websites, and other creative collateral for companies across a span of industries – from tourism and higher education to finance and high tech.

David McAllister
David is currently Director of Standards and Open Source at Adobe Systems. He's been involved with Open Source since his days at NASA when it was just another type of software license. He focuses on startups focused on technology changing events and delivering those changes to business.
Paul Mitchell
Currently Sr. Analyst for the CMS running Macys.com, Paul is a San Francisco based content management expert with over ten years experience selecting, designing, deploying and managing CMS solutions. He has selected, deployed or managed CMS systems for more then half a dozen Fortune 100 companies, including Macys and Bloomingdales, Wells Fargo, ATT, SBC and Verizon. He's also a web content author and strategist, and in an earlier life was a professional journalist for over seven years.
