We recently released the first release candidate of 8.3.0, featuring an integrated calendar, document library and much, much more. We're really excited about it. Now, the second release candidate is available. It fixes a number of upgrade issues, and adds support for those who have the current concrete5 marketplace calendar add-on installed.
concrete5 8.3.0 is right around the corner, and it features a ton of updates. We need help testing it! Download the release candidate from our downloads page and post issues in GitHub.

Today concrete5 documentation is focused around technical developer docs, and more interface focused editors guide. There’s also a searchable collection of Tutorials, which are typically short and very task specific. We want to create a new Implementation Guide.
concrete5 8.2.1 is now available! It is strongly recommended for anyone running version 8.0 and above, and fixes a number of issues with 8.2. It also adds searching to express objects and more!
After a lengthy development period and a long release candidate period, concrete5 8.2.0 is now available! This is a huge update, with over 175 new features, bug fixes, improvements and updates. It's definitely our largest release for version 8, and one of the biggest releases we've ever done.
We are looking for accomplished interactive media designers. This may be either an individual freelancer or an agency that provides services. We generally do not sell design or strategy services, but we do need internal design support. We have an immediate need of redesigning PortlandLabs.com, and we’d like to develop more on-going relationships with design resources we can recommend to our clients.
We are pleased to announce that release candidate 2 for concrete5 8.2.0 is now available! (Release candidate 1 was actively worked on in GitHub but was never publicly posted to concrete5.org). You can download 8.2.0 RC2 from our downloads page on concrete5.org. We are really excited about 8.2.0 – please download it, backup your 5.7 sites and update them, or install 8.2 fresh. A full list of what's changed in this version is available here. Read on for more information, including some important backward compatibility information (especially important if you have Express Form custom templates.)
concrete5 188.8.131.52 is now available! Version 5.6 has been stable for a very long time (the previous version, 184.108.40.206, was released nearly two years ago.) We're forging ahead with exciting updates in version 8, but 5.6 still contains some worthwhile fixes and improvements for legacy sites, including
- Security improvements
- Workflow improvements
- Bug Fixes
- Export Improvements
This last one is a big one; if you have a legacy site and you'd like to migrate it to version 8, the first step is to upgrade it to version 5.6 so you can use the 5.6 legacy migration tool to export your sites. 220.127.116.11 fixes a lot of bugs with that process. You can get the full list of 18.104.22.168 fixes and changes here.
