Boys and Girls Club of Winnemucca (Winnemucca was the name of an Indian Chief whose nickname was "Bad Face", which name became him fittingly if you click on that link) was in the mood to create an income stream for their small town in the spleen of Nevada. Thus was born the Night in the Country" music festival.
This free spirited event has grown since its inception and now boasts a world class lineup of Country greats! It sells out early evey year.
The event is of course held in the summer. July to be specific.
