Error 500 message across all sites

Getting the following error with both of my websites. Any thoughts on why this is happening?

This page isn’t working
*website* is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

Possibly the server php version has been upgraded to one that is not compatible with your version of concrete5.
