Internet explorer compatibility with atonal

I have built my first concrete5.7 site. It works fine on Safari, Firefox, and Chrome, but when someone viewed it in internet explorer, the menu items on the header autonav menu overlap.
I don't know which version of IE, but I suspect it was a recent one. I don't use IE.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix?

Can you include some screenshots of the problem? Are you using a custom template for the autonav block?
I would try to find out which version of Internet Explorer had the problem. It will make fixing the problem easier because each version has its own quirks.
