Page List Ignore Sitemap Order

Hello
I have big problem with Page List Block because I can not find any solution to present a list that follow the Sitemap and auto-nav can present without any problem the main pages and sub pages in the correct order.
Page List present all the items but in strange order, always in same way not in random order, if I select alphabet order, everything works fine but why Page List block keeps ignoring Sitemap order? Is this a bug?
How can I add the Thumbnail capability to Auto-Nav so I can create a quick solution?

Now I understand the logic of Page List but I have more question, how can I show in Page List Block the Parent. My mean is, I can select Show Beneath Selected Page and it's presented to me all the child:

This would require custom code in a custom page list template.
