Saving space by eliminating old updates

Hi Folks,
I need to save some space on my server and delete some old files.
Here's the question: Can I delete old concrete update versions from the "updates" folder?
For example I updated a site from 5.7.4.2 then to 5.7.5.1, then 5.7.5.2, then 5.7.5.3, etc.
Can I go ahead and get rid of the 5.7.5.1 and 5.7.5.2 concrete folders in updates?
