Why This Option - Constrain Image Size ?

Hello

I'm just wondering what is this function in version 5.7, because in 5.6 this give me a big help but any values that I put inside the version 5.7 when I'm editing the Image Block are Ignored.
This really have any use?

This will be fixed in 5.7.1.1.
