embedded pdf preview visibility problems- can't open the file

I've been running into my share of issues lately- wondering if I can keep the 3 for three solution record going.

Not sure if google doc viewer problems are a 3rd party affair, regarding support, but I think it is a C5 issue for sure. Made a couple of versions of a pdf using different means (a word processing program, and a version based on html). Also tried different sizes. When uploaded I can add it in to the doc viewer in the block, but always get a message saying can't preview (Oops, something wrong)... Just for fun I uploaded a flash file and tried that in the swf viewer and there I just get one blank page.

I would really like to resolve this, the last couple of posts have been in order to getting my site capable of displaying some multipage documents which are kind of important.

Anyone for more karma?

Would an environment text be helpful?

I got the swf version to work by converting the pdf at

http://document.online-convert.com/convert-to-flash...

I'm thinking there may be issues around these online conversion sites not being able to handle newer platforms?

Anyway still researching the pdf issue. Perhaps it too is a matter of finding an up to date converter.

The problem lies in the word program from which the pdf was made. In this case I was using Libre Office. Installed Prizm Cloud document viewer and tried the doc. Didn't work. Switched to Open Office and remade the doc, uploaded it and it worked with Prizm.
