Didn't see such a thing in the marketplace, but was curious if anyone was working on something like this.

In short, a small block that lists the last X number of "news stories", a backend for entering new stories, and perhaps an "all stories" block to see all news.

It seems like this would be a popular/profitable add-on...

I'm looking at buying the "Testimonials" add-on, which comes very close to what a simple "News" block would do. Just change the small display block to display in a non-random order and have more than one entry shown. I've contacted the author about this, so I'll post back if this works out.

Thoughts? Ideas?
