A quick suggestion

Lately I've been downloading addons such as remo_sqlbuddy(database manager) and the php add on. I've noticed that for those coming to concrete 5 for the first time, there aren't any instructions for installing the addons, eg which folders to put the blocks in etc.

It's just an observation and I now know how, but it would have been easier if there was a 'how to' text file.

Just a thought - anything that makes concrete5 easier for the user or developer to use is another promotion for the CMS

the idea of a how to text file added to the packages is a good one!

there is a link to this page buried in the text on the marketplace landing page:
http://www.concrete5.org/index.php?cID=16673...

...wish there was an alias of that page in the documentation though, cause customers are continually asking me about that stuff.

yeah it's not a bad video, but I downloaded the zip file and then had to find out which folder it went into - ie the block folder for the php add on and the packages folder for the database manager.

It's simple now that I've done it. Maybe there's a way I could write a simple help file just to help others.
