Adding a new home

I can't find any similar question being asked and maybe it's easy to do.

I need to create a new top-level 'Home' page on a developing site. My existing 'Home' needs to move down one level and take it's sub-pages with it.

Is it easy? If someone could describe the process I'd be very grateful. I'm nervous that I'll lose the pages I've developed so far.

You can do one thing, just create a new page as child home page beneath main home page and move all the other pages beneath child home. Then edit the main home accordingly.

The Home page cID = 1, you are not allowed to add any page before id 1.
