Backing up the site so I can delete and reinstall Concrete5 – help

Hi friends,

My site is behaving erratically (on my C5 page the same project shows up having two different versions of C4; some add-on upgrades are not happening; trying to delete an add-on I get an error and it can't be deleted; etc...).

I'd like to back up just my website, delete all files, reinstall a fresh version of C5, and reinstate the website again.

Is there a way of doing that?

All of your content, less themes, files, and packages, is stored in your database, however, you're going to want to backup absolutely everything just in case.

You can essentially follow the following guide with a few altered steps:
