All files were uploaded but the problem still exist...

Could the problem be because I update the concrete?

Is this all blocks, or 1 specific block? If just one block, which block is it? Can you provide a link to where this is happening ?

I have this exact issue on one of my C5 sites. Interestingly enough I have 7 other sites running on the same server / setup with no issue.

The problem did not appear until I upgraded to the latest version from 5.4.0.5.

I noticed that for some reason my sidebar items were gone. Which were mainly autnav and a few Global Scrapbook html blocks.

I went to add them back and it would look good, I would save, it said saving and then poof.

When ever I tried to add anything from the scrapbook or use autonav the same thing happened. I tried creating new blocks in the scrapbook and the same issue. Again I have the same setup elsewhere.

If I created a separate HTML block for each page an manually entered the information it worked fine.

I have not had time to debug myself and this was a production site, so I got back up and running until I could take a better look. Figured is was just an isolated issue.

Thanks, I hope someone will fix that problem, because it's very annoying...

Hi

I experienced exactly the same when upgrading from 5.4.0.5 to 5.4.1. Losing leftside bar blocks after edit (template adios) tried several times to add Autonav and recent pages both adding new and also by adding from scrapbook. Have now reverted to 5.4.0.5 again after giving up. Very annoying !!

I'm having the same problem after upgrading to the 5.4.1 version.

Various things disappeared initially after the update. For instance...

-Navigation bars located at the top of my main area
-Title blocks located at the top of the main area
-HTML block of my google calendar located at the top of the main area

When I got to work and started fixing these missing areas, I noticed that if I added a new title block, and adjust the position to the top of the page, then it would delete ALL of the main area content as soon as I publish the page. At least I can go back to the previous page version, but I cannot format the page I would like it to look without deleting everything.

Maybe I should go back to the previous version of Concrete5

I tried to restore the previous version but now I have problems with base mysql because something goes wrong... I am getting to get it all from the start:)

Hard to say but it seems C5 is not so stable and perfect as everybody thinks...

As an idea could it be possible it is actually a javascript problem.. meaning that the block is there, but javascript or css is hiding it?

Because I have noticed that buggy JavaScript can do all kind of obscure things..
