Once add-ons are installed via connecting to a project page, they are no longer available for download from that list.

You should be able to install them and update them all through add functionality in the dashboard.

Ahh... is that new? Used to do it before.

Good to know.

Yes I believe it was in our original changes to the site redesign but
only was activated in a recent bug update to concrete5.org

We're trying to update the site at least once every couple of weeks at
this point so it doesn't get stale and hard to upgrade like the last
version did.

best wishes

Thats fine. Love this new site and love C5 so your hard work is very much appreciated!

What if that fails - which is a problem I'm experiencing now?
I cannot un-install the old dysfunctional version of an add-on nor install the new version that is shown as available for update in the section of Add Functionality/Installed and Available/Updates.

An error 1 shows when I try an update. The add-on creator said that it is likely c5 problem and couldn't not help beyond pointing out to the manual upload, but that file is only apparently available under my account and licence, which I can't find.

Any help on this will be much appreciated.

Thanks
JP

Good morning acew,
to make available for you to download/then upload:
Log into Concrete5 - select "My Account" from top left of page - select "Projects" from right sidebar - select current site project you have add-on assigned to - scroll down page until you see Add-on in question - select "Release From Project".
Now when you return to your "My Account" page, select "Transactions", then "Licences" and your "download archive" option should show up to the right of the add-on (very light grey text on my laptop)
