Hey guys.
When editing your website in Edit Mode, why do we have to go to "Exit Edit Mode" every time we want to save changes to the website? Why can't we navigate through the website, and then go save changes, and save that version, instead of saving every page version.
It just takes quite a while, when adding pages in for clients, This would make it alot faster to add information into the system if we could have a way to do something like this.

because we save everything as a version when you hit exit edit mode, and to do what you're talking about we'd have to save every edit everywhere as a version
because you'd have no easy ability to preview changes instead of publish them if we were automatically saving everything
because what would happen if you just walked away from your computer for 20 minutes and someone else walked up..
i agree it sounds nice at a glance, but it'd be awfully complicated to build and i believe more confusing for a new site owner.
