Can't update Concrete5 installation

Dashboard message:
The latest version of concrete5 is 8.4.3. You are currently running concrete5 version 8.3.2. Upgrade Notices Unable to retrieve upgrade notices from concrete5.org.

I click update, and get the following message:
Version 8.4.3
Unable to retrieve information about this update from concrete5.org. You may upgrade but do so with caution.

??? How do I update my version if I can't get information from the concrete5.org web site?

Could be a connection issue so perhaps retry a few times , if not then

1. Backup entire site
2.https://documentation.concrete5.org/developers/installation/upgradin...

I think the problem was my version of PHP. I was working on a different computer with PHP 5.x.x on it. I upgraded my version of PHP and it installed just fine. Thank you !
