concrete5 5.4.2 Now Available

Permalink 1 user found helpful
We've just released version 5.4.2!

This release includes a beta of Composer, our new dashboard tool for quickly creating pages. This is our way of bringing "blog-style" editing to concrete5. Please, kick the tires and let us know what you find.

Additionally, we've added the ability to specify concrete5's language from within the application itself, rather than just through a config file. Check out Dashboard -> Settings -> Multilingual if you have multiple language files in your languages/ directory.

Finally, we've provided more than 60 bug fixes, behavioral improvements, security fixes and developer updates. For full details, check out the changelog:

You can download from here:

Thanks everyone for your patience, code submissions, review, feedback, bug reports and patience.

Maybe Tony was right and we should have added a "This answer sucks" button.

Probably, but that doesn't stop me from being awesome ;)

I think mine is the best answer since there was no question, :P

git clone git://github.com/concrete5/concrete5.git
git checkout 5.4.2

yeah, the best news about 5.4.2 is that it's a social release, not a one man army thing. Also, is it true that Tony is out?

Tony has been working at Musician's Friend for a year or more at this
point. He still does an awesome job with his add-ons and support, and
he's still active in the community.

best wishes
