Contact Form

I have added a form to my website. I have made it into a contact form ie: people put their details in and add a message press submit and I have set up the option for me to be emailed when someone submits the form however despite me being able to see when people use the form (in my website dashboard) I am not getting the email so the form is pointless. Any idea what the problem might be?

Do you see any errors in the Reports > Logs section?

?? People can use the form without any problem and I can see the response in the reports section of my dashboard however I am not getting the email. So, no, no error message. I simply dont get the email as Im supposed to - see attachment. I have marked "notify me by email when people submit this form" however I am not being notified.

Do you also see the mail on the Reports > Logs page?

This could mean that you maybe have not configured a SMTP Email Method and that your Server does not support PHP Email Service (NGINX in base config).

In that case it'd throw an error and show that in the Logs. Hence my question.

Thanks but I have no idea what any of that means. My email is gmail so if gmail does not support PHP email service I guess thats the reason? As for the configuring part of your reply - I added the form and answered the questions - correctly, including adding my email address. There was no configuring required.

no as per previously replied - no errors. What I see in the reports log is the form submission however it is useless to me there - I need it sent to my email. That is the purpose of the form.
