Downgrade

Is it possible to downgrade from 5.1.0 to 5.0.0?

We're having a few problems we can not solve right now. See this discussion:http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/chat/advanced_permissions...

Using Internet Explorer (7!) does not work for us anymore.

I can easily replace the concrete folder but what happens to the database?

As for downgrading - yes, you should be able to use the old /concrete/ folder with the new database.

if you need to see it yourself, I can create a concrete5 user for you..

ssh access might be a problem though.

I just replaced the concrete folder but without much success. Back at 5.0.0_2 with IE7

When adding a new block an empty dialog appeard. Not the advanced permission dialog like we've seen in 5.1.0 but still not very useful.

No JavaScript error, no hints..

I started debugging it, had a look at pretty much every method in ccm.dialog.js

Made a little modification (added an alert) to jQuery.fn.dialog.load
and right after that everything worked!

I'm not sure what the problem is/was right now. Maybe a cache problem..

Will upgrade another project to 5.1.0, I might run into the same problem again...

And hopefully should get out a new release that will rectify these various issues.
