Drop Menu - using Super-Fish or Alternate Script

Hi there,

I am trying to create a drop down menu for a client site that looks a bit different than the standard Super Fish drop down. I will attach a screen shot of what I am hoping for it to look like.

My developer is trying his best to get the right look and feel, he explained that the super-fish css isn't easy to overwrite.

Wondering if anyone has used any other drop down scripts that may be easier to modify or if there are any suggestions on how to work code Super-Fish CSS.

Thanks

James

Thanks for the reply.

My developer is not sure if he can create the same look and feel of the attachment using the Super Fish drop down menu.

Right now it looks like this -http://vtabarbados.com/c5/, the client wants it to look like the attachment.

I am trying to find a way to have it look like the attachment.

Thanks

James

jdog75, i can convert html themes to c5 themes that look exactly the same, including dropdown menus, take a look at the free Boldy and Destyle themes in the MP

Take a look at Ukao Menu which adds to the Superfish Menu with a slew of stuff. Too bad they wont give me a copy to review on:http://performancec5.com/

I am the creator of the ukao menu, but I don't think that would be the best solution for you.

You don't need even need the superfish add-on; the autonav block will generate the markup that you need to create that kind of dropdown menu. Then all you have to do is add the css, that way you are not fighting with the block.

This should help you to get started with implementing your own superfish menu without using the add-on:

Hi everyone, thanks for the great responses.

If my developer is unable to get this to work is there anyone here that could build just the drop down menu for me?

I believe he should be able to complete the rest of the site, so I believe all I would need to have the Super-Fish drop down menu look EXACTLY like the attached image (I will attach again) since this is what the client wants.

Thanks.
