How do I begin an email database on concrete 5? I would like my site users to be able to send 1 email and for the e-mail to go to their state senators as well as the presidents e-mail address,, the first step to this is creating an e-mail data base I have heard,, how do I do this?
this actually sounds like a different problem to me. he doesn't want to send a lot of mail out to people, he wants a lot of people to send mail to one address through the site.. (email your senator)
This strikes me as the kind of thing you don't want to mess up. I can imagine a poorly configured SPF filter or reply-to meaning that all of the mail you're sending gets treated as spam or a single source at the politician's end. I would post this as a custom job in the community job forum, and then look for someone who had actually built something similar in the past.
