Facebook page connect

Maybe it's a simple answer and I just can't find it... Is there a way to add a facebook link to my C5 site that will post to a Facebook page instead of my personal profile? I want to have a publicly viewable link so people can post my c5 pages (news items for a church site) on their profiles, but would also like to be able to post the link to our church's facebook page... does that make sense?

The Facebook Share function or "like button" would allow others to post/share pages on their personal feeds. Read about FB Share here:http://developers.facebook.com/docs/share/... or the "Like Button" here:http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like...

As for your church's facebook page I would suggest trying to set up an RSS feed to automatically post new items. If you can get an RSS feed out of concrete5 that just contains your news items then you can set up your facebook page to automatically pull in that content (should be able to do this with the page list, if you have a custom page type for your news articles).

I've used twitfeedhttp://twitterfeed.com/ with success in the past.

One word of caution, make sure you always be careful when publishing content - it's really easy to have a draft version automatically get published. Using the "Hide from Page Lists" attribute until you're ready to fully publish might be advisable.

Didn't think about the RSS feed. That seems to do the trick.
