Forward to mobile site but allow mobile user back to main site

Is there a plugin to do this or a good way to program this with Javascript or PHP that works.. We have our main sitehttp://www.mainsite.com and our mobilehttp://www.mobile.com the code I have reads screen size and auto forwards to the mobile site. However I want an option to go back to the main site without it continually kicking me to the mobile site based on the screen size.. Any ideas?
