Hi,

It's possible that google hasn't picked up your site because you're not linked to from any sites that google currently indexes.

You can work around this by using Google Webmaster Tools:

http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools...

In the Tasks section of your concrete5 website, there is a task for generating a sitemap.xml file. After you have run this task you should be able to navigate to:

http://<URL_TO_YOUR_CONCRETE5>/sitemap.xml...

This is the sitemap you will want to submit to Google Webmaster Tools. Yahoo! can also accept this format.

One of the best things you can do for yourself is to get linked up a few sites that are already indexed by google. Even putting a link on your facebook or linkedin page can help.

This is why I am a bit confused I have sites linked then linked backed also I have run the sitemap and submitted this to google from the beginning also when I have added a few pages I have run/submitted this again. Driving me insane as I can't see any problems. Does google crawl site only once a week as a standard setup?

How long as your site been operational?

It can take google quite awhile to perform the initial index.

the url is gothinkdesign.com not really had any problems before with any other sites just somehow won't index the main url

i like your site, you should submit it to the showcase.

google webmaster tools will actually tell you the last time it indexed your site, what it found, etc.. what's it say?

There's plenty left to do however! Apparently crawled my site again 3 hours ago if i have that right following the robots txt

So now I'm curious, what search strings are you trying to use to find your site?

Searching google for "go think design" returns gothinkdesign.co.uk as the first result. Consequently, I cannot get this page to load.

Is this your primary domain? Is it possible that it's the domain google is trying to index you through?

will check this out with them. I own this domain also but don't want to perform a redirect on this just yet. Checked google account deffo .com Im trying to index .co is already sorted. Just noticed on google it s not indexing any urls from sitemep either gosh getting worse this one! big sorrrry

When I search for Go Think Design the first hit is gothinkdesign.co.uk, which doesn't actually load for me. Should that be mapped to gothinkdesign.com? Could be part of the issue...

Looks all good to me! 133 pages indexed (take into account a lot of that is back end)

If not then i had the same problem once. submit it as "yordomain.com"not "www.yourdomain.com.

Re submit without www. and it will sort it out.
