HELP - updated version from 1.7 - 3 and lost content

Permalink 1 user found helpful
On Friday I signed into my site as usual and there were updates available. They looked good so I went from version 1.7 - 3, and now virtually all my site has disappeared. I have no saved content anywhere and I am totally stuck. Can anyone suggest how I might roll back to an earlier version, or remove the update and go back to 1.7. Thanks Dan. website is astrofix.co.nz

As your site is currently Concrete5 version 5.6.3.1 and there have never been any releases with 1.7 in them (from looking at the legacy download list), I assume you are talking about an addon but you haven't specified which one.

More info is required.

Hi goodnightfirefly,
Yes they might have been addons. I just hit the button to install I believe. They ranged from 1.7 to 3.0 I believe. Does that help?

Go to Dashboard > Extend concrete5, and find any addons which match your '3' version number.

The solution may depend on which addon it is.

For the past 4 years I have used Flexcrete for my website - Brad Fogelstrom who designed Flexcrete (Formerly Growthcurve, now Pine Creative Labs). I have mentioned 6 months ago that I updated a version on my site and consequently my website has had all the content and images down ever since. I have contacted Brad multiple times by email and telephone and he has been completely unresponsive. This has been extremely frustrating. I have not been able to get him to roll back the undate installation or email me the zip/archive of the earlier version so that my IT guy here in New Zealand can try to reinstall it. What can I do? Thanks Dan

Have you created a support ticket?

If the developer is not responding to support requests, you can contact Franz. Franz is CEO of Portland Labs, the maker of concrete5.
