Help: YouTube Videos only showing up at black rectangles

Hello,

I'm new here, but I've been using concrete for my website for a couple of years now. I just noticed recently my YouTube Videos embedded into my site are only showing up as black vertical rectangles. I've check on Firefox and Chrome and they both seem to be doing it. Any idea what is causing this?

Thanks,

Hi,

the code you're using to embed the videos was deprectaded in 2015 (more info:https://developers.google.com/youtube/js_api_reference... )

How did you embed the videos? Did you use the Yotube block or did you paste the embed code directly into an HTML or a Content block?

If you used the Youtube block, I guess you'll need to update concrete5 (you're running a very old version of concrete5). If you embedded the code manually, you'll need to embed the videos again using the new code that youtube provides now when you want to embed a video.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Jordi!

Yeah I used the YouTube block to place it. I'll see if we can get the version updated. Hopefully I can manually embed it while we check on that. Thanks for the answer!
