I've had a few clients get an email from Google lately saying with the message that 'Googlebot Cannot Access Your Javascript and/or CSS Files.' There is a quick fix for this that I wrote about in the following article for those who need help:

Glad you found it useful. A lot of people got emails for this. It actually has been an issue that has been around for a while, but this is the first time that I know of that Google proactively has notified site owners about it.
Webmaster tools also wants access to the /updates folder
I just got swamped with mails from Google for almost all my sites.
