HTTP Commander or other document control program

Has anyone tried to connect HTTP Commander to C5? If so, any success? It is designed to connect to WP, Drupal, and Joomla, but not C5. We are looking for a document control program (preferably one that reads the folders on the server itself, not the folders within C5). We're working on ISO9001 and our document control person is difficult to work with.
