installing ups rates into zone based shipping add on

Does anyone know about the ups developer kit to integrate the ups rates into the zone based shipping add on OR is this already done with the add on??

Looking for info on the UPS standard ground and air rates also??

anyone can help this would be great because I am trying to setup a couple of new websites using the e commerce add on and zone add on

Also is there anything about Fedex also??

You won't need to emulate the full UPS (or FedEx) shipping tables, just what is relevant to a specific business. Every site has different requirements, hence implements a different subset of the shipping agents tables.

A site that ships from a location on one side of the country will have a different address to zone mapping compared to a site shipping from a location on the other side of the country.

The corollary is that only a site shipping from pretty much the same location with a similar spread of products will have shipping rules that you could simply pick up and use. Anything else would serve as an example, but not provide a ready made solution.
