Internet Explorer 8 - problem with changing admin password

I've just installed Concrete5 for the first time ...

Well, actually, I installed/re-installed several times until I found out that my inability to save changes to the users details disappeared if I opened the site in Firefox (3.6) rather than Internet Explorer 8.

Literally, clicking the Save button after changing the password just does nothing in IE8.

Has anyone else come across this, and are there any other problems with accessing Internet Explorer that I should be aware of (I am currently evaluating the system with a view to using it as the basis of web sites for my customers).

This is months old, I believe there is/was a bug submission, try the latest git

Seems to be still a problem....
I have the latest software version and still having problems with it.

I did made some changes to the profile pages but that was only cosmetic..
