Keywords vs Tags

I need some help, On using Keywords and Tags in C5, seeing both are supported, What is the differance is using one over the other for assigning to Files, either Images or Documents uploaded to the file manager? How does everyone explain this to the clients?

keywords search a number of columns, including the title, description, and tags column.

tags search just the tag field, and i think it requires the complete word, so if you search for "art" it won't return "market". tags are also better for grouping files, almost like a category.
