I am a novice developer, capable of very little coding. At this moment in time I am building two sites, one an intranet on Concrete5, the other a website and store on Wordpress. Concrete5 is a dream and WP is a pain. I dread when I have to work on the WP site b/c it is so non-intuitive. Why did I choose WP? Because the client needed a CMS and it has better international compatibility at the moment. I don't think I'll ever build a site on anything else except C5 if I can help it. The bit of money one has to spend on C5 Add-ons is worth the time saved using a less intuitive platform like WP. Still, for a blog WP is the way to go. Any other use, I love Concrete5.
