Marketplace Questions & Discussion Gone?

I have noticed that on the newer add-ons and themes that there is no longer a "questions & discussion". Was that recently changed?

I really hate to see that go away. I base many decisions on that piece as it gives people using a particular add-on a way to discuss modification for their use and also get a feel for what the item is really used for out in the real world.

Anyway I hope it is not gone.

I believe they removed it and replaced it with a pre-sale question link.

The seller is more likely to reply sooner as it sends a email directly to the seller.

While I understand that concept and it is a good idea. When I am looking at plugins I don't generally want just the developers opinion / discussion.

The value of the system was the community discussion at each plugin level.

I personally believe that both features are needed. One from the actual developer then one from a un-biased community discussion.

(I use the themeforest comments every time before I purchase an item. It's saved me a lot when I know a product isn't worth purchasing).

Adding my vote - would like to see it back. In fact just clicked on this link on an add-on only to be disappointed (had forgotten the feature has disappeared again!) and then I closed the page.

I wouldn't mind it back, but if it returns can there be something in the sidebar telling people about the support forum, so they don't post in the wrong place if they've already made a purchase and just want help with some issue?

Yeah I agree on that.

It's coming back as "Forums" with a pre-post nag telling people to use
the pre-sales question or support forum before posting.

best wishes
