Meet-up in LA? (Help wanted)

I'm planning a trip to LA between Oct 9-15.
Does anyone in LA who's interested in organizing a meet-up?

Need a advice of a place, (a projector and screen).

Any thoughts?

I had a help from an old friend of mine who owns a coffee shop.
