Multiple CSS Loading in Browser

Hello,

On this site, you will notice that the search box is not exactly the way it should be. When we do Inspect Element on this page, and navigate to /concrete/css/ directory, we see multiple CSS loaing. Not sure why? We think the only CSS that should load at this point is ccm.bas.css. For some reason the public page thinks it is the Admin interface where all these CSS are supposed to load.
Where should we look to remove the extra CSS files being added to this page?

I am new to Concrete 5. However, I learned that the organization I work for had tried to upgrade it to 5.5.2.1 two years back and it broke everything - themes, add-ons etc.
Would you have any recommendations on the best way to approach the upgrade?

It is important to back up your files and the database. What we normally do is create a second environment and database. This way we wont effect the live site.
You can not install 5.6.3.3 immediately you have to update in smaller steps. You can download the different versions from herehttp://www.concrete5.org/developers/developer-downloads/....
You can trie the following update roadmap. (Can bee that you can make bigger steps in versions but I am not sure) making to big steps sometimes fails.

5.5.1

5.6.0.2

5.6.2.1
5.6.3.3
Make sure you are logged in and clear the cache.
For the update you can back-up the concrete core folder called "concrete" just name it differently so you can put it back if the update fails (5.2.2.1_concrete). Replace the concrete core with a new concrete core from the update roadmap.
Run this:http://www.your-concrete5-site.com/index.php/tools/required/upgrade...
Repeat this. It is possible that you need to update some of your addons as well.

You're using version 5.4.2.1, thats nearly nearly four years old and probably over two dozen version updates!
Try getting up to 5.6.3.3 and go from there.
