Need some help in speeding up C5 on Godaddy.

I personally know for a fact that Godaddy SUCKS. I was forced by one client in the past to purchase hosting from them for C5.

Here is that client's site: gohannan.com

Amazingly that site is not too slow that I would pull out my short hairs.

Here is the tragedy. My new client is using Godaddy and selling hosting through them. I want to STRESS that GODADDY SUCK!!!

The new site that I developing using C5 is running like constipation slow. I have used some techniques to speed it up but those have helped very little. Now my client has no desire to quit using "HODADDY" (I have no respect for Godaddy!)

So I'm in a bind. I know how to use Joomla! but the sites that I am building don't need a grizzly like Joomla! Besides, I don't want to waste time teach clients how to use it.

C5 has barely a real learning curve for the client. Once I show them how to edit their own content. They act like I'm a guru and I can go on my happy what with a smile.

I that there are some GURUs that have had to use Godaddy for C5 and know how to safely speed their installs and site up.

Any working help on this would be a blessing.

Thanks.

I think the website hosting world is still a 'you get what you pay for' - I wouldn't expect much performance out of a $5 website hosting plan like what GoDaddy offer.

Do yourself a favor and convince the client to go forhttp://www.concrete5.org hosting (if they are based in the US) or providers like myself can sort you out in other regions (at present UK, AU & NZ).
