New page type thumbnail image

July 02, 2009
I am developing themes for some clients and my themes/designs don't match up well to the selections for the page type thumbnails. Is there a way to create and add my own thumbnail images to associate with pages I create for the theme? Seems like a simple enough idea.

they are associated in the db

no clean ui for it yet, but you can set them through the db.

how would I go and do that?

not really sure how to get at that. Any pointers?

edit the database or overwrite the icon files

I think if you open your c5 database with something like phpmyadmin, the PageTypes table contains a field called ctIcon. There you could change the names, or I think you could simply overwrite the png's located in http://www.concrete5.org/concrete/images/icons/page_types/main.png... with your own images.
