not connected to community :(

My client managed to lose their primary domain, but the site is working perfectly well on a secondary domain. They want some new plugins, so I connect to purchase them and have everything move along smoothly and quickly.
Only, my username/password gives me the error of:
You must login with a username that is an owner or editor of this project.

Some research here had me look at the connected page, and that is where I learned:
This site needs to be reconnected to the concrete5 community. This typically occurs because the site's base URL has changed.

No problem, I log in here, reconnect, and we are all shiny. Only, I cannot log in here, my login attempts give me the You must login with a username that is an owner or editor of this project.

so now I am going in circles. What am I missing? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

When you run into big snags like this one, it's often best to start from scratch. You'll want to delete all the marketplace token stuff on the site. (Usually good to take a database backup whenever you are working in the database, just in case). Here's how you remove those tokens, along with some other notes:

Then, you'll want to reconnect to the community using your account to create a brand new project page. Then you'll want to release all the licenses from the old project and assign them to the new project. This generally solves all connectivity problems. Having the addons unassigned during the change over won't cause any problems on the site.

I believe that should do the trick!
