Any ideas why permission settings are being ignored?
I set the permissions on a block to hide it from guests and only show to registered users.but it doesn't work.
Is it group thing? Do the registered users have to be in a group?
How do I set the group of someone registering?

so i tried naming the blocks and still no joy.
I can hide the blocks I need when in guest mode okay, but showing the blocks doesn't work.

It' works on other pages where the same block isn't being used.
I think that's the issue.

Okay it half works.
The issue is with excluding the block. Just set it include the group you want and it works.
Well almost, it's still showing blocks marked to include guest to registered users.
It's a bit rubbish this permissions function.

Okay it's working, some blocks have include and exclude others just include. Seems to be no rhyme or reason?
The blocks are the same block just duplicates rather than separate instances.
i.e.
Login form - should be shown to guests and hidden from registered users
Download files - should be shown to registered users and not to guests
When a users logins in both blocks are hidden.
It's a bit daft if that's case?
