Hi,
Hope someone can help as this is driving me mad.
I have set up C5 on my clients server and all seems to be working well apart from the following:
I have set up a page and added block elements to the defaults for that template. Problem is when I create a new page it does not pull in the blocks I have set!?! This normally works fine but for some reason it will not in this case.
I have tried emptying the cache etc but no joy. I have to keep going into the page type and click 'set on child pages' to bring them in which will be a headache for my client.
Has anyone ever came across this?

Yeah current install, PHP 5.2.4-2ubuntu5.12 and it happens to all page types.
The client uses the Pleask control panel which does not let you set database permissions (why?!?) so have asked there support. It could be this.
But I have never came across this either.
