Project Page not linked to my account

Permalink 1 user found helpful
This is my first attempt at building a web site for our church. I tried to link our site to my CC5 account and from the dashboard it says it is linked but when I try to go to the project page it just takes me to a login page at CC5. I log in and it just takes me back to the login screen. The top bar shows I am logged in to CC5 and when I go to my account it still doesn't show any projects associated with
my account. Its almost like it is associated with another account, just not mine, but I am the only one who has worked on it.

I am ready to purchase a theme but don't want to go any further until I get this ironed out. I checked with my host - Maiahost - and they have curl installed. I read somewhere that this could be a problem. Is there some way to "unlink" the site and start the process over? Or, should I ask my host to re-install CC5 and start over from scratch?

I played with the demo for some time and really want to use CC5 if I can make it work.

Below is a cut-n-paste from my dashboard's "Add Functionality" tab. On my site, the words "project page" after "nothing currently available to install" is a link directly to my C5 project. Its not clear to me if you've used this link to access the project page. Have you logged into C5 and chosen "remember me" Before trying to access projects from your site?

Your site is currently connected to the concrete5 community.

There appears to be nothing currently available to install from your project page.

Browse more add-ons and themes, and check on your project page.

Yes, that is what I am using to try to connect to the project page. When I clike on it it takes me to CC5 login page even though I am already logged in. At the top of the login page is shows the "sign out" button. I did select the remember me check box. Still nothing.

Is it possible you used a different email when installing your site than what you used to join the C5 community with?

No, I only have the one e-mail that I used. That shouldn't be the issue.

Hi jdbrown,

I don't see any projects connected to the community via your profile. If you can send me the link to your project page-- the one that is listed in the dashboard-- I can use my admin powers to figure out what account your project belongs to.

Go to Dashboard > Sitewide Settings. In the "Connect to Community" box, there'll be a link to your project page. Right click this and choose "Copy link" (or "Copy link location", etc depending on your browser) and then paste the result into your reply.

Check out my attached screenshot to see the box I'm talking about.

Thank you for your offer for assistance but I have already had my host reinstall CC5 and I have been able to successfully connect it this time. I hadn't done much work on it so it seemed to be a reasonable option.

I am off and running and looking forward to putting it together.

If you're not sure which user account owns the project at concrete5.org, you can send me the link to your project page and I can help figure it out.

See my first reply above. You can send me a private message by clicking my profile picture, then clicking the "Send Message" button.
