Public file sets

Is there a way to change a file set, initially set to public, to private? It's my own file set, and I just forgot to deselect the little Make Public checkbox upon creation. thank you

No, I don't believe you can change from public to private once the set is created.

However, I would suggest a work-around:

1. Create a new private set
2. In the file manager, add the files to private set. You can do this very quickly by selecting all the files, then in the "Items Selected" dropdown, select "Sets" and simply check the new private set you created.

OK, but if I do that, and delete the original set, if those files are posted to a page, will the move to a new set affect their position?
