As there's no answer to a forum question I raised last week and I can't use discussion forums as intended, can I get a refund?

if you have a question on a specific commercial add-on you should ask that in the support area for the add-on, as that's where we're looking to give you timely support there.
Regardless, I've replied to your linked thread above. In short, you should just unassign the license from your test site and re-assign it to the project page for your live site.
