Search Block format

Hi,
I am trying to alter the search block (not results page) a little. I have set up a template of view.php but I cannot see how to edit the search block style/css.
All I want to do is to change the shading around the search box and button and the button's position slightly. I'm using Plain Yoghurt. Does anyone know where these tweaks can be made?

I agree with Mnkras, these alterations woul dbe done in the themes css files. I found this which has a pretty straight forward approach and illustrates css for form fields, hope it helpshttp://www.sohtanaka.com/web-design/styling-input-search-form-css/...
