SPAM in spite of CAPTCHA

The form on this page is getting spammed so I turned on the captcha. It's still getting spammed:

It's a 5.7 site.

What can be done? Are there other captcha options?

The CAPTHA is a bit outdated, you got reCAPTCHA now. There's an Add-On for it in 5.7:

There will be invisible captcha anytime soon too, it's in beta now. So you'll have an even better option after that's out of beta!

What kind of spam? Advertisements, scams, etc?

Also, are you sure it is due to the CAPTCHA not performing correctly? It could just be spammers actually solving the CAPTCHA. What is the volume of spam? If it is a large volume, the CAPTCHA could be not working, whereas with a medium or smaller amount it could be dedicated spammers.

I hope this helps!

It's mostly gibberish with links embedded throughout. The volume is low - several per day so it's probably manual. I didn't think that was an option but I guess it is and I suppose there's not much I can do about that except take down the form for a while and hope they move on.

A radical alternative is to disallow links to be posted. This blocks captcha-solving farms too. Of course, if you need links in posts, this won't work.

An implementation you could adapt is here:

However, you do need to be aware that the contact form posted above does not accept CAPTCHA (or reCAPTCHA). And as @ramonleenders said, you should use reCAPTCHA for extra spam verification.
