Superfish Menu

I have added the Superfish Menu to my site,http://cliftonparkproperty.com/.... I want to change the background of the menu to an image. I have changed the "design" and added a background image, but it does not show up on the site after saving. Is there a way to add a background image to the menu (I want it the width of the site, even though the menu is not the width of the site).

Any ideas?
