There seems to be 2 Home Pages on my website

Can someone please help?

There seems to be 2 Home Pages on my website - one that works when I’m logged in to edit the site, and one that does not work when I’m logged out and it’s open to the public. What I mean by 2 different Home pages is that they each seem to have their own Auto Nav. The one that doesn’t work, is an older one that was edited to the one that does work. By “doesn’t work”, I mean that the Auto Nav always re-directs me back to the Home page that doesn’t work.

A description of what is going on with the site is as follows:

In my site map, a page title “About the Knights” remains in dark text.
If I click on the name under the pages selection in the site map,it brings me to that page.
If I go to the Dashboard in the site map, and I click on the page, it logs me out and brings me to a non-existing or old Home page.
I have to re-load that page and start all over again.
Under Flat View, it’s not highlighted.
If I click on Home page, under Dashboard site map, it takes me to the page its supposed to, or the one that works.
If I go to “About the Knights” in the Auto Nav, it brings me to the old Home page and logs me out.
When logged out, anything I click on in the Auto Nav takes me to that same old Home page.

My site domain is: kofc15495.org. I’m using Concrete 5.7 through Hostmonster web service. The reason I went with Concrete 5.7 is because, according to their ads, I do not have to be a web designer or coder to use it. This is apparently not true because I have tried researching this issue through Google Search and most of the information I find is for Concrete 5 and not Concrete 5.7, and when I do find something for 5.7, the only solutions I find seem to be in coder’s languages. Since I am not a coder, and don’t understand the language, I haven’t got a clue what the hell they’re talking about. If there is a fix for my issue and you can help me with this, could you do so in plain english so that I can understand what you are telling me? I have tried going through your Q&A tree but again I don’t really know what i am supposed to be looking for.

Hi,

Go to your dashboard and make sure the "stack" for your nav area is in an "approved" state.

It would probably not hurt to clear your browser and concrete5 cache as well.

Thank you for your response. I found out what was causing the 2 home pages. Apparently a block was installed that I had forgotten about called "Under Construction". It was preventing any access to the site beyond the home page. When it was activated it gave no indication that it was working such as something saying, "site under construction", so I just assumed that it never installed and set my home page so that anyone comming to the site would have to log in to enter. Three weeks later when I opened the site back up my problem with the two home pages started. I have completely uninstalled the "Under Construction" block, (that I apparently didn't need in the first place), and all is working fine now. Thanks again for your input.
