Hi - I was wondering how far we are away from having an upgrade option to version 8 for novices so they can upgrade an existing website from the dashboard?

I am an avid fan of C5 however it appears that unless you hang out at Github and are a gun PHP programmer there is really little to no information for general website users/editors. It makes it difficult for users like myself to actually know at what stage the new version is actually at right now.

As a fringe user I am definitely uncertain whether to develop live sites in the new version 8 - or am I best to treat it as experimental at this stage, given my lack of programming experience?

Any idea if or when a dashboard update will be possible from the existing 5.7 installs that I have running now?
