Which Addon to use?

Hello all,
I've got a project coming up that requires a directory of companies with contact information, logo, etc. This directory needs to be searchable.
Which addon would be best suited to the job? I didn't see one specifically for that (possibly I've missed it though). I was looking at the Contact Directory as a possibility but it seems more suited to individuals or staff members, is there a better choice?

5.4.0.5 and below has a members single page, Remo also has a people block on his site codeblog.ch
I'm not quite sure what you mean. What I'm looking for is a listing of companies in a directory, possibly with category, company name, brief description, some contact information with the ability to click their name for a more detailed listing.
In fact it sounds like I might just be able to make a page template for each company and do something with the listing page, no addon needed... is that what you're driving at?

I was suggesting using single pages.
I can't think of an add-on that meets your specific needs in the MP right now.
If you've got some PHP experience under your belt, I'd recommend going with the Contact Directory and modifying it to suit your needs. It wouldn't take too much and I think all the functionality that you need is there (searching, importing, categories).
That being said, I'm sure there's plenty of developers around here who would be happy to quote a project like this if you're not comfortable doing it yourself.

Why dont you try data display package? I think it will meet your purpose. But it has the following limitations as far as I know:
1. Its search is very slow
2. Search facility itself is very limited. no dropdown etc. it cannot be seperated from the listings.
3. Its author says the next version is due. But he has been saying it for sometime.
